2018 Fall Training 'BIG Ideas' Brainstorming Session

This year's BIG Ideas session focused on the National PTA School of Excellence program.  Following a presentation on the School of Excellence program, our Fall Training attendees were divided into four groups.  The members of each group became stakeholders at an imaginary school that needed to brainstorm ideas for events, programs, and activities to improve the school and build family-school partnerships using National PTA's National Standards for Family-School Partnerships.  

Each group was assigned a goal from the School of Excellence program goal list below, and they were also allowed to choose two objectives for inspiration:​

The groups were then given time to brainstorm and discuss the possibilities of their chosen areas of focus.  At the end of that time, we all came together as a group to present our results and share inspiration to take back to our schools.  There were some really great ideas!
