How to BE A UNIT IN GOOD STANDING:
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT FOR YOUR PTA TO BE A UNIT IN GOOD STANDING WITH EUROPEAN PTA?

ACTIVE STATUS
Each membership year, all Local Units must meet the following requirements to attain Active Status with European PTA:
- Enter the names, emails, and positions of all current board members in MemberHub by August 1st of each year. Any board members who start after the August 1st deadline must be entered in MemberHub within 15 days of election or appointment.
- Submit membership dues to European PTA via MemberHub with dues payments for all current board members by August 1st of each year.
- Submit proof of PTA Training for all Local Unit officers (President, Vice Presidents, Secretary, and Treasurer) within 30 days of the start of the school year in a folder in the Local Unit’s Unit In Good Standing hub on MemberHub.
UNIT IN GOOD STANDING STATUS
Local Units must submit membership dues to European PTA via MemberHub by the 25th of every month. Failure to report for three consecutive months will result in loss of Unit In Good Standing status.
Local Units must also comply with all of the following standards by November 1st of each year to remain a Unit In Good Standing with European PTA. Local Units that do not maintain Unit In Good Standing status will be subject to a Local Unit Retention Plan as described below:
- Attain Active Status with European PTA (see requirements above)
- Submit a digital copy of the Local Unit’s Budget for the current school year in a folder in the Local Unit’s Unit In Good Standing hub on MemberHub.
- Submit a digital copy of the Local PTA bylaws, signed and dated by the current school year’s President in a folder in the Local Unit’s Unit In Good Standing hub on MemberHub.
- Submit a digital copy of the Local Unit’s audit from the prior school year in a folder in the Local Unit’s Unit In Good Standing hub on MemberHub.
The following PTA Local Units have achieved Unit In Good Standing status with European PTA for the 2019/2020 school year as of 3:00pm on February 3, 2020:
